Damian Kennedy was one of those musicians who was both highly gifted and much in demand. At the time he was playing with Red Not Blue (David Adams) and Shanley Del, yet he still joined Crimes of Passion and was in fact the very first member of the band.

His bass solo in the middle of Time during our live shows was simply brilliant and always a highlight of the performance. After the band broke up, Damian and I continued working on songs together, including Never Be Free and Sweetest Agony.

Not long after that Damian sold all of his music gear and moved to the United States, where I believe he is now happily married and working in the IT industry. Sadly he no longer plays music, which is a real shame given how talented he was.
